Welcome to First and Monday! A Revamped Newsletter Experience for Your Team
October 3, 2022

Welcome to our new look newsletter, First and Monday! We wanted to overhaul the tired newsletter model to provide you with news and stories that actually impact your day-to-day business. Today's write up is on winning the most important thing in business: Trust. Hope you enjoy!

Trust is one of, if not the most critical component in business. While you may be thinking "well of course it is", have you ever stopped to think about how your business is earning trust?

While working on a project this week, our team realized that we assume far too often that our audience should trust us. Why wouldn't they, after all?

In reality, winning trust is a very intentional act. In today's era of headlines and fading attention span, organizations are tasked with winning their consumer's hearts and minds in mere moments. Without a concentrated effort, positive emotions towards a brand can erode or become stagnant.

According to 5W Public Relations, 71% of consumers buy from brands who have similar values to their own. Thus, it's critical that a main focus of the marketing strategy work towards capitalizing on those positive feelings.

Specifically, the Harvard Business Review points out that story telling is, mentally and physically, the most effective way of invoking a positive response from your audience in the short and long term.

Connecting with your audience on the most fundamental levels is the key to not only winning first time customers, but keeping them around for a long-term relationship.

Recent partnerships with Startup Waco, CUTS, Real, and more are all examples of Progage's storytelling ability. Creating authentic content is a challenge, but it's one that our team meets each and every day for our clients.
